It takes a village to raise a child. As parents we can be quick to"jump down" others throats when it comes to raising our children. For example, if we were walking down the street and stopped to look at the dressed mannequin and Mrs. Stranger pulled your child by the shirt to keep them from harms way.( let's say from getting hit by a car) We are not going to call her out her name, we're going to thank her and be most appreciative. If we take that same lady and woman however, we put them in a situation where the mother was paying attention and Mrs.Stranger gives the mother advice about the child. She is not going to say " thanks", she more than likely will tell her to mind her business. It takes a village to raise a child. We as parents don't have all the answers. Before we jump let's understand what's being said to us and/or our child and see how we can use it, it may help.
